On 29 October 2026, Mrs. Pawaree Xuto Chaipatiyut, Deputy Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations, led officials and staff members of the Permanent Mission of Thailand in a volunteer activity to commemorate Nawamindra Maharaj Day on 13 October 2026, Chulalongkorn Day on 23 October 2026, and the anniversary of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother on 24 October 2026. On this occasion, the Mission donated clothing to the St. Mary’s Clothing Drive in New York City.

Located in the basement of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, the St. Mary’s Clothing Drive aims to alleviate clothing shortages by collecting and distributing donated clothing to families in need. The initiative provides assistance to more than 24,000 people across New York City each year.
