On 21 May 2026, His Excellency Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United Nations, presided over a ceremony to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, Queen Consort of King Rama VII, for the recognition by the UNESCO of the centenary of Her Majesty’s royal duties and contributions. Diplomats and officers of the Permanent Mission and the Office of the Military Advisor, including their spouses, were present at the ceremony.
