On 25 November 2025, H.E. Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand, presided over a floral tribute-laying ceremony to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. Diplomats and officers of the Mission and the Office of the Military Advisor were present at the ceremony.

 

On 30 November 2025, the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations, together with the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York and Team Thailand agencies in New York, held a ceremony to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, National Day, and Father’s Day, 5 December 2025. The Thai Community joined the event at the auditorium of the Thai Cultural Center of New York State.

 

Ambassador Cherdchai delivered opening remarks and paid homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. The program concluded with a merit-making ceremony. Diplomats, officials, and staff members of the Permanent Mission, the Consulate-General, and Team Thailand agencies attended the commemoration in solidarity.

Prior to the ceremony, Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul-General of Thailand in New York, paid a tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother who passed on 24 October 2025.
