                On 28 September 2018, H.E. Mr. Virasakdi Futrakul, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the High-Level Special Event to Launch the Code of Conduct Towards Achieving a World Free of Terrorism, held on the margins of the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly. The event was chaired by H.E. Mr. Kairat Abdrakhmanov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

                Kazakhstan initiated consultations and finalization of the Code of Conduct Towards Achieving a World Free of Terrorism with the aim of reaffirming the existing principles and measures to combat terrorism encompassing relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions and the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy. Thailand subscribed to the Code of Conduct, recognizing that the document aligns with Thailand and the international community’s approach to countering terrorism.
