On 22 January 2021, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated via video message, at the Virtual Commemorative Event of the Entry into Force of Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW).

As one of the first three States to ratify the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons on 20 September 2017, Thailand applauses this historic event as the "triumph of multilateralism" towards a world free of nuclear weapons.
