On 27 October 2025, His Excellency Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand, and his spouse signed the book of condolences in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother of Thailand. The signing ceremony to pay tribute to Her Majesty the Queen Mother was joined by diplomats and officers of the Permanent Mission and the Office of the Military Adviser as well as their spouses.


Director-General Benjamin Sukanjanajtee of the Department of Treaties and Legal Affairs, Judge Kriangsak Kittichaisaree of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS), Dr. Kamalin Pinitpuvadol, Secretary-General of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO) and  officers who were attending the meetings in New York, also signed the book of condolences and paid tribute to Her Majesty the Queen Mother at the Mission.

The Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations has made the book of condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother available to UN Agency personnel and foreign representatives to the United Nations at the Mission on 28 - 31 October 2025 during 10.00 - 13.00 hrs. and 15.00 - 17.00 hrs.
