“At a time of growing divisions, we must continue to seek common ground, uphold the principles of international law, and work together towards a world where justice contributes to lasting peace, sustainable development, and respect for human dignity.”
On 2 November 2026, at the 81st session of United Nations General Assembly, Ms. Thiraphorn Trivachirangkul, Counsellor, delivered a statement on the Report of the International Criminal Court, reaffirming Thailand’s commitment to international criminal justice, accountability for the most serious international crimes, and the fight against impunity.

Emphasizing judicial independence, impartiality and due process as well as the fundamental role of national legal systems in advancing accountability, Thailand underscored the importance of ensuring that justice remains meaningful to victims and affected communities.
Thailand also highlighted the need for constructive dialogue, mutual understanding, and respect for the sovereign equality of States to sustain confidence in international criminal justice and strengthen cooperation towards lasting peace, sustainable development, and respect for human dignity.
