On 16 June 2022 at the 32nd Meeting of States Parties to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, Thailand reaffirms its commitment to fulfill its obligations and ensure effective implementation of the Convention to attain marine sustainability. Thailand also encourages constructive engagement in enhancing knowledge and understanding as well as promoting marine science and technology. Having sustainable oceans is an important aspect of global efforts to promote sustainable development which Thailand is pursuing through the BCG Economy Model.
