On 7 November 2025, Ambassador and Permanent Representative Cherdchai Chaivaivid presided over the Panarasamawan ceremony or a merit-making ceremony to mark the fifteenth day of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, at the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations in New York.
Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General in New York, the officers, Team Thailand, and their spouses of both offices were present at the ceremony to express their profound gratitude to Her Majesty the late Queen’s great benevolence.
