The Permanent Mission of Thailand organised activities in celebrations on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, 28th July 2024. Joining Ambassador Cherdchai Chaivaivid at the ceremony were diplomats and officers of the Permanent Mission and the Office of the Military Advisor as well as Friends of Thailand.

On the occasion as a tribute to His Majesty the King, the Permanent Mission of Thailand also organised a volunteer activity to clean up Hunter’s Point South Park, the scenic waterfront area in Long Island City, New York. Ambassador Cherdchai and the Permanent Mission members were joined by the Thai Consul-General in New York, the Consulate’s officials and staff as well as Friends of Thailand. Together they volunteered to clean up the park and restore nature, joining the local community in a mission to preserve and care for the green space for the public use.
