The Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations, New York
and the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York
organised a ceremony to celebrate H.M. King of Thailand’s birthday in 2020

On 28 July 2020, the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations in New York together with
the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York organised a ceremony on the auspicious occasion of
His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s birthday at Vajiradhammapadip Temple, Long Island, New York.

H.E. Mr. Vitavas Srivihok, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations,
New York,and Mr. Annop Soonjan, Acting Consul General were joined by officers and staff members of
the Permanent Mission,the Consulate-General and Team Thailand in New York.

The ceremony proceeded smoothly taking into account emergencymeasures currently being implemented by
the City of New York to contain the spread of COVID-19.
