On 3 December 2021, The Permanent Mission of Thailand activities on the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand and Thailand’s Father’s Day, 5 December 2021.

 

His Excellency Mr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand presided over a ceremony to pay tribute to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great at the Permanent Mission of Thailand. Joining Ambassador Chindawongse at the ceremony were diplomats and officers of the Permanent Mission and the Office of the Military Advisor.

 

In addition, the Permanent Mission of Thailand also hosted a virtual reception on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand and Thailand’s Father’s Day via the Permanent Mission’s facebook page. The Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam, as Chair of ASEAN New York Committee in 2021, and the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Cambodia, as Chair of ASEAN New York Committee in 2022, conveyed congratulatory messages during the virtual reception. Ambassador and Permanent Representatives and other representatives of Member States of the United Nations joined the event virtually. Ambassador Chindawongse, together with Mr. Fabio Chinda, Consul-General of Thailand in New York, Heads of Team Thailand Offices in New York, as well as officers and staff members of the Permanent Mission also attended the event in-person at the Permanent Mission.
